Replace just the glass without removing the entire frame. Fast, cost-effective, and backed by a 20-year warranty. The smart choice when your frame is still in good condition.
A sealed unit (also called an insulated glass unit or IGU) is the glass portion of your window — two or three panes of glass sealed together with an insulating gas between them. When the seal fails, moisture gets in and causes fogging.
Instead of replacing the entire window frame, we simply replace the sealed unit — just the glass — in any window or door. This eliminates the cost of a full frame installation and is typically done in under an hour per window. Your existing frame stays in place.

Not every window problem calls for a full replacement — but these four situations are clear signs that a new sealed unit is the right solution.
If your window glass feels very cold to the touch in winter, the insulating argon gas has likely escaped and the unit is no longer performing efficiently. Replacement restores full insulation.
Failed sealed units lose their insulating properties, forcing your furnace to work harder. Replacing the glass unit immediately restores energy efficiency.
If the glass itself is physically damaged — cracked, chipped, or shattered — a repair is not possible. The sealed unit must be replaced entirely with a new custom-ordered glass unit.
When the seal has completely failed and the frame is still in good condition, replacing just the glass unit is significantly more cost-effective than a full window replacement.
We'll always recommend the most cost-effective solution for your situation — not the most expensive one.
