CEIP will be reopening for pre-qualification applications on February 17th at 9 a.m. We will accept 75 applications in this round, which we expect to receive shortly after opening.

Interest rates
The CEIP interest rate for this application round is 3.75%. If you were pre-qualified for the program in the January 2023, July 2023 or November 2023 intake rounds, your interest rate will stay at 2.95%. If you were pre-qualified for the program in the April 2024 or November 2024 intake rounds, your interest rate will stay at 3.25%.

What’s next for CEIP?
We are implementing some updates to the program and plan to offer another application round within a few months. We will keep you updated through this email.
Use caution: door-to-door sales tactics
It has come to our attention that in some Alberta municipalities, there is an organization sending door-to-door sales people to encourage homeowners to sign up for CEIP and install solar panels. The sales people request personal information and say that they will apply to CEIP on your behalf. We don’t know if this is happening in Calgary, but ask that you please notify the police if this happens to you. You do not need to provide your personal information to any contractor or sales person to apply to CEIP. You must apply to us directly and no one can apply on your behalf. Stay safe!
